McDonald’s Scholarships and Economic Opportunities

McDonald’s and its franchisees bring positive economic opportunities to the neighborhoods they serve in numerous ways, including hiring directly from the community, providing scholarships and engaging in other philanthropic activities that provide access to education, empowerment and entrepreneurship.

McDonald’s Black and Positively Golden Scholarship Program awards $1,000,000 in scholarships to students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF).

The scholarship application period for 2023-2024 is now closed. Please visit again in the Fall of 2023 for more details about the next scholarship year.
